What is a Monlam
A Monlam is a ceremonial gathering working with ”aspiration prayers” dedicated to an awakened life, affirming the wish of peace and happiness for all beings.
Through ritual music, movement and meditation we combine the strength of our aspirations, envision a world free of suffering, with harmonious relationships, and ecological responsibility.
In the Light of Tara – The Enlightened Feminine Buddha
TaraLing is a resource of Tara Dhatu, providing a temple, two retreat cabins and residence for our guiding teachers. It is dedicated to the Enlightened Feminine in the form of Buddha Tara. She determined that our world needed the inspiration of an enlightened female to show that women are capable of the highest spiritual attainments. The practices that have developed around Her transmission of wisdom are empowering and revelatory.
Tulku Chokyi Nangpa Rinpoche Consecrating TaraLing Pirenópolis
Empowerment of 21 Taras ~Rinpoche will arrive on the 25th of September to consecrate TaraLing and give an empowerment of the 21 Taras.
RInpoche is the Spiritual Director of the Jonang Kalachakra Centres worldwide. It is said that his very presence is a profound blessing. Many monks who live close to Rinpoche report an inner transformation without having received a single teaching.
Pirenópolisis a two hour drive from Brasilia. We will secure transportation to and from the airport.
We have made arrangements with a local pousadaPousada Piri Paimthat our students may have a reduced rate for their rooms. If you would like to stay at this Pousada, contact Myri and she will send you the pricing info.It is a 5 minute walk from TaraLing

Participation in the Monlam is limited to 40 dancers
To secure your place in the MonlamYou must register Contact Myri for all payment arrangements
You can provide financial support to enable women who wish to dance but do not have the financial resources by making a donation to our scholarship fund.
You can provide financial support for the costumes and the many expenses of the Monlam itself.
