Katherine Walker has been leading a circle of dancing Taras in the South Island of New Zealand for many years. Prema decided to graduate her to Level 3 in the TDEP, a gesture that she likes to celebrate with the gift of a ceremonial Kata. Since Catherine couldn’t come on the long journey to TaraLing, new Student Teacher Bree, who was able to attend, received the kata in Catherine’s honor. The 8 auspicious symbols are an offering of abundance in wealth, wisdom, and health.
