Andrea Abinanti, a Tara Dance Teacher living on Manjushri Hill in Kathmandu, has maintained a wealth vase for Tara Dhatu for many years. Each year she brings it to the Swayambu Monastery to recharge the vase with prayers. The rituals surrounding this vase are for the purpose of maintaining our dharma work that we be well supported financially. Tara Dhatu members are invited to make a contribution to ask for personal wealth blessings and their names are read as sponsors to the prayers and Pujas.

During this puja only the gompas’ Wealth Vase Pujas and ours were included. You can see Didi’s picture of her your Wealth Vase that’s in America…to the right of her picture is my Tamang son, Bachhu Ram’s Wealth Vase…next to his, the Blue one that’s Tara Dhatu’s Wealth Vase and in front of yours, the small red one is mine…
We were all so fortunate to have our Wealth Vases included in this puga.
Namgyal-la…Drubthop Rinpoche’s closest disciple who still oversees everything…he makes such touching prayers for the wellbeing of all…

Here is the new chant leader, Jampa…he’s reciting the prayers so nicely!

Ghen Jampa is offering the Golden drink, Serkym, this is made from milk, tea, alcohol and tsampa flour…special prayers are recited duringthis offering…then all are put together…one monk then uses a spoon and gives everyone a small amount to drink on our
