Land of Medicine Buddha – Tara Dance Circle events

Greetings Tara Dance Friends,

We are so grateful to all who came out for our first public Land of Medicine Buddha Tara Dance Circle.  It was such a joy to come together in open-hearted, loving community on this sacred land – and how powerful and precious to feel the collective energy and prayers to Tara, as the community simultaneously engaged in Tara Puja and ongoing prayers for Lama Zopa’s swift return.  Thank you all for your sincere and devoted practice and Presence.  Such an honor and a blessing to engage in this sublime path of awakening together.

We have set the dates for our next couple of gatherings and hope that you can join us again…and for those of you who missed the first one, we hope to see you soon!

Saturday, May 20th, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Land of Medicine Buddha – Pine Room

We will gather to engage with the meditations, visualizations and mudras of the Tara dance practices to become more familiar with our own enlightened feminine wisdom. The evening will include engaging in the preliminary practice, a deep dive into the Dance of the 21 Qualities of Tara, and dedication dances. Theresa, who lives at Land of Medicine Buddha, will host this evening while Meadow and Dara are away.  Come experience the power of Tara’s energy here on the land!

Wednesday, June 21st, 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Land of Medicine Buddha – Forest Meadow
Come sing, dance, pray and play in sacred circle at this special community celebration of the Summer Solstice. We will create a fruit, flora and fauna Mandala to honor, welcome and invite in the Elemental Energies, the Body Wisdom of Tara and the Five Wisdom Dakinis.

We will play with and explore these energies through meditation, music and movement and manifest this Divine Feminine Wisdom, radiating out as Loving Compassion for all, as we practice the Dance of the 21 Qualities of Tara.

You are invited to bring flowers, branches, leaves, fruit, etc for the Mandala and a dish to share for a celebratory potluck picnic.

All are invited.  Festive attire welcome!
