When H. H. the Dalai Lama traveled throughout English speaking countries he had a version of this prayer by Shantideva distributed to the students. This song was adapted from that text and modified by Prema Dasara who shares it world wide as a sacred dance practice.

This version was filmed in Brazil by Anahata Iradah. The movements and mudras are clearly demonstrated as senior students Myri Dakini, Maria Ache, Aradna, Zenia Yeshe Dawa and Gisele dance together with Prema. The music is in both English and Portuguese.

Bodhicitta is based on our wish to liberate all beings from suffering. According to the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, the greatest gift we can give the world is to become fully enlightened. The more enlightened we are the more capable we are of seeing clearly the causes of suffering and with a heart over flowing with love we can inspire everyone we meet to reach for their greatest fulfillment.
