Andrea Abinanti is a dear friend and Tara Dance teacher living on Manjushri Hill in Kathmandu.
Andrea organizes Tara Dhatu’s participation in Wealth Vase Pujas at the Thukche Choling Monastery in Swayambhunath Kathmandu. She keeps our Wealth Vase in her personal shrine, dedicated to Tara Dhatu’s prosperity, so we can go on serving our community with sacred dance and dharma.
Recently, our Wealth Vase was included in the Yangdrup, Wealth Puja during Tihar on the day of Lakshmi Puja.

Jamyang our monastery’s manager, told me I could include our wealth vases in the puja…
Geshi Lobsang Sonam oversees the puja and Ghen Jampa is one of the main monks who always makes prayers for the wellbeing of all…
on the opposite side is Namgyal-la…
he was the closest monk to Dhrubthop Rinpoche…
the other two next to him are very nice new monks in our monastery…
In front of the altar are the Gompa’s wealth vases and three of ours…
Tara Dhatu’s wealth vase is blue and is the one in front on the left side…mine is the
red one on the right side…
at the end of the puja there is also a Tsok puja…
at the end, all of these offerings were given to all the monks, me and some others…
I’ve just been told that our Annual Yangdrup Puja will begin on December 1st and end on the full moon December 7th…so whatever offerings are given please send them to me at least 6 days before December 1st…
Also now I’m trying to arrange things for our restoration…so hopefully next Saturday, with all of us living up here and those who oversee the houses will come because someone I’ve met is coming to help us arrange things…if that works it will make me very happy…I’m not sure if I have exactly the amount to have everything done…so if Tara Dhatu can make a small offering, that would be very nice…
