Ushnisha Vijaya Long-Life Puja and 1000 offerings

Our annual Ushnisha Vijaya (Tibetan: Namgyema) long life puja with a 1000 lamp offerings was performed for the well being, good health and happiness of all beings on Dec. 15th, 2024. May everyone have received Ushnisha Vijaya’s blessings and feel physically very well!

This year the Tibetan Wood-Dragon New Year began on Feb 10th. The Tibetan New Year 2025 is the Wood-Snake year and will begin on February 28th. May Ushnisha Vijay continue taking us in positive directions every year!

Ushnisha Vijaya, is the Compassionate Mother…she has three faces, eight arms
and is one of the three respected deities of longevity. Her white body, radiates like glistening snow on the top of a mountain. Her central face, body and eight arms
are white, symbolizing her ability to eliminate all misfortunes…her middle face is like a full moon; she is blessed with a radiant smile that pacifies obstacles. Her second right face, is yellow and manifests Compassion for all beings…this face has a smile full laughter. Her third left face is blue and slightly wrathful, it manifests her wrathful essence, and brings control over the negative minds…she cuts through the ignorance of all. Ushnishavijaya is also known as a goddess who helps those who are sick to be cured and those who have passed away and are traveling in the Bardo to take a precious human rebirth and those who have died in a lower realm, she uplifts to a higher realm…

We also made strong prayers for the wellbeing of all beings in this world!
